Nourlangie Rock, Kakadu National Park, NT

Really interesting time at Nourlangie Rock this morning.  We were able to walk through the area with a Ranger, who talked us through an introduction to the aboriginal heritage, culture, laws and kinship, whilst pointing out the significance of the escarpment, rock art and the camp areas. There is so much we can learn from a people that have had 20,000 years of consistent occupation and management of the environment in country.
