What a wonderful holiday we've had! But there is NO place like home!! The house looks huge after living in a caravan for three months.
We've had an awesome time, such an adventure! The weather has been absolutely wonderful and the family time priceless. We wondered how we'd all cope living in each other's pockets 24/7 for three months, but we're glad to report that we've had very few cross moments and an incalculable number of wonderful experiences together.
Only the one issue with the car in Broken Hill, otherwise it performed beautifully, dragging the caravan 16,771 kms, using $4390 of fuel. Ford were onto such a good idea with the Territory!
We have learned to work together so well as a family team; this morning we'd got up and dressed leasurely, packed up the awning, lifted the stabilisers, rolled up the swags, dropped the roof and hit the road within 45 mins of rolling out of bed!
